    Disappearing Car Door

Tired of car doors that extend beyond the body of the car when open? Why not store your door in the floor instead?

    Kindest regards,

    1) This is an interesting concept - but also one that has failed in previous attempts (I remember seeing something like this in the past). It certainly has a "cool" factor to it - but my fear is that it's a "cool" factor only in a "perfect world", i.e., the mechanics of it will never malfunction and leave you stuck, it won't rain (or snow), and you've got good ground clearance. For a "Celebrity Mobile" or something in a movie - way cool. For me, I'm probably better off buying the Mini-van that has the sliding back door instead.

    2) Was that opening shot at the Fox theater in Atlanta? Just curious - haven't been to Atlanta in a while (but should be headed back for Code Camp early next year!)

No kidding, I didn't know that this was tried before.  First I have seen it and it seems like a pretty smart idea, IMHO.  So, you may get stuck in it every now and again, but that is the price to pay for coolness factor. I am guessing that you can escape he old fashioned say, through the window.
